The album "Dronethera" is derived from a live ambient performance of Solfeggio frequencies, recorded on 08-22-23. The performance was created using a synthesizer, effect pedal, and sampler, combined with field recordings from Silvae Spiritus, a forest retreat center in Finalyson, MN. The material was originally created for Interbeing 04, a communal event focused on integrating nature, meditation, community dialogue, and music.

My experience with Solfeggio Frequencies:

I first discovered Solfeggio Frequencies through my interest in soundbaths and ceremonial uses of singing bowls. I was looking for a scale of tones that could be used for therapeutic purposes, to enhance my own meditation practice and that of a group. There are many beliefs and statements focused on the effect and power of this particular collection of frequencies. Whether or not any of the 'divine effects' of these frequencies can be objectively proven, what is easily witnessed is their effect upon oneself while listening. I noticed that when I listened to these tones over an extended period of time, my mind and body began to relax. My consciousness drifted through many thoughts and emotions, but also towards a more peaceful and balanced state of mind. It is my hope that the listener has a similar positive experience while listening to Dronethera.
